Handmade Natural Deodorant That Really Works! Super Easy Too.
Here is my favorite natural deodorant recipe that I use as the base for most of my deodorants. I've tried about all the so-called natural deodorants out there in an attempt to reduce the toxic chemical load in my body. Of all of them, THIS recipe, as well as the others I share on my website, work the best.
I think this is because of the combination of a *bit* of baking soda as well as some ingredients that have antibacterial properties which help with odor control. You can find out more at the link below.
Here is a link to the written recipe and a list of common potential toxins used in commercial deodorants and anti-perspirants on my website at Healing Harvest Homestead:

Here is where I buy my:
Arrowroot powder (super good quality, organic, and you can buy small or larger quantities as you need):

Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter:

Essential Oils:
Rocky Mountain Oils: http://bit.ly/2s3NOGf

NOTE: Don't want to make your own, but still interested in information about clean makeup and skincare that really works? You can find out more here:

NOTE: Using baking soda in your natural deodorant (which is a very common ingredient) can cause a detoxification reaction or sensitive skin in the underarm area. This usually goes away in a couple of weeks, and based on my experience, is totally worth it. **I have VERY sensitive skin, and it took about a month, and now my pits are fine.
However, if you experience extreme redness or sensitivity, consider re-melting the deodorant and adding additional oil to dilute the amount of baking soda.
OR....try making it without the baking soda and substituting with more arrow root powder. This will not be as effective for odor, but does help absorb moisture, even still.
