I’m amazed by this concrete additive that enhances flow - it’s a polymer that causes the concrete to flow and become more “self-leveling” without dumping in too much water! Thanks to my friend Mike Surovik from Texas who showed me how to use this stuff. Commenters informed this is called a “plasticizer”

This trial features 1/2 bag (40lbs) of store bought concrete mix and about 35 mL of the “flow control” additive.

[For me] this will make it easier to finish the DIY driveway repairs. 🪣 The 1cm fiberglass pieces will help reduce fine cracks that appear in my thin layer of cemenf added to the 3-inch thick driceway.

[For OpenLab Project] this is a crucial substance to list in the inventory because it will appear in future projects. 🔬

[For the Community] I’m excited to team up with other experienced maker-engineers like Ben from NightHawkInLight youtube channel (it’s a great channel by the way) and exchange technology to build more Free and Open Source designs! All the viewers in my community are welcome to lead a project and connect to share the engineering results as a collaboration 👭.
