FAST & SIMPLE $5 DINNERS

Hey guys! Thanks for coming back for another video! Today's video is another episode of my family's favorite fast & simple $5 dinners. All prices are subjective to where I live in Texas, so please keep that in mind. Below you will find the recipes and ingredients. I hope you enjoy and have a happy new year!

SPAGHETTI $4.66
2 cans spaghetti sauce .92 x 2
1 package spaghetti noodles .82
1 chopped onion .91
1 cup mozzarella cheese 1.09
-Bring pasta to a boil and strain. In a separate pain, brown onion and add in sauces. Combine with cooked noodles and top with cheese.

TEXAS TOAST PIZZA $5.54
texas toast 1.57
1 jar of marinara sauce .88
1 cup of mozzarella cheese 1.09
1 package of pepperonis 2.00
-Layout toast on pan and add marinara on top. sprinkle with cheese and add pepperoni. cook in oven on temp & time for toast instructions.

BREASKFAST BOWLS $5.50
2 russet potatoes chopped .48 x2
1 green bell pepper chopped .60
1 onion chopped .91
1 lb of breakfast sausage 1.94
1 dozen eggs 1.08
-Chop onion and fry in cast iron pan until golden brown. Remove from pan and brown bell pepper and onion. add in sausage and cook until brown. slowly begin adding in eggs and scramble. combine into breakfast bowls and top with cheese.

ITALIAN PASTA SALAD $4.59
1 lb pasta .85
1 can of olives chopped 1.35
1 cucumber peeled and chopped .50
1 red onion chopped .78
1 large tomato chopped and deseeded .34
i handful of chopped cilantro .38
juice of 1 lime .19
1/2 jar of italian dressing .92
-Bring pasta to a boil and strain. Add with the rest of the ingredients into a bowl and cool before serving.

BLACK BEAN & CHICKEN QUESADILLAS $5.23
1 cup of shredded cheese 1.09
black beans rinsed .58
1 can of chicken shredded and rinsed 2.08
1 10 count flour tortillas 1.48
-Take one spoonful of beans and chicken and cheese and lay on 1/2 of tortilla. lay on a sprayed skillet and fold over remaining half of tortilla. Press down with spatula and cook for 30 seconds. flip over to cook remaining side.
