What makes this Comedy Bang! Bang! compilation more unusual than usual is the Reference Reckoner, with an appropriate extra for Fourvel fans: even more THRILLS!

Listening to CBB 512, stumped what to do for my final Fourvel, after the holiday video not wanting hours of photo-shopping but hoping for something special, I heard the gang referencing... references. It became a callback AND my theme.

As any CBB fan knows, Scott and co. have a LOT of go-tos: TV, movies, songs, singing, the immortal bard (and the rest) and I wondered which was their favourite diversion. Movies? Ghosts? Star Wars?

The rest, as they say, is history.

It took about 2 months' listening and counting and handicapping and even then I couldn’t resist adding some visual fun. So much for no workload, but I've loved it and I'll do it again (though not too often!). I’m pleased with what I've come up with, something I can't recall seeing and I hope you agree it's a worthy celebration and culmination of Fourvel. If you love the little guy, I think you’ll appreciate how his story ends here.

Both CBB episodes feature reference “races”, "horses" being things said on the show. In a few cases (e.g SINGING!, SCOTTRICK, GOOD LORD) “reference” is used loosely but I can put forward good arguments for the inclusion of each (SINGING! is referencing songs!)

If you find you have trouble keeping up with the action, don’t stress. Race updates appear every 15 minutes or so and you’ll find it gets easier to take it all in after a while.

I did a lot of research for this and have included some info on screen, making this show not just funny and exciting but interesting too (for interesting people). THAT kind of show (and the other kind too).

To make the races as exciting an experiment as possible, I‘ve handicapped several horses.
