XT Hitch

The XT hitch is a variation of the more common Valdotain Tresse known as the VT hitch and in my opinion works perfectly with the Hitch Hiker. No slacking or creeping at least with my cordage set up. In ascent mode, just pull down the hitch slacking it and start ascending your rope. When you reach to a stop you don't need to do anything, it engages by itself with enough grip but easy to pull down when ready for the descent.
