Harvest & Cook - New Potatoes / Homegrown Garden

The container grown Charlotte potatoes are ready for harvesting! Join me as I harvest the very first spuds of the season and hear lots of planting advice and growing tips. Once harvested it's time to cook them on the plot! I make two of my favourite summer-time recipes using ingredients from the garden. They're simple to make and taste SO fresh!

- RECIPES -

• Buttered mint potatoes
Salad potato (steamed)
Butter (proper stuff, not margarine!)
Chopped mint
Black pepper

• Potato salad
Salad potato (steamed then diced)
Mayonnaise
Parsley
Spring onion
White wine vinegar (just a dash!)
Black pepper
Calendula petals - garnish
