Hey, TheThings fans! Calling all the half-bloods for a video that’ll take you straight down the Percy Jackson rabbit hole. PJO fans were anything but silent about the underwhelming The Lightning Thief and Sea of Monsters adaptations that hit the box office in 2010 and 2013 - but what did those movies really get wrong?

In this video, we’ll be going over specific scenes and characters that just didn’t translate properly on the screen. Even author Rick Riordan had to walk away from his own series because he didn’t agree with what the filmmakers did with his creation at all.

You may already know a few - like the difference in Annabeth’s appearance or Percy’s drastic age-up - but there are some plot points that completely changed the entire series. Did you know Annabeth is supposed to have an Invisibility Cap? Or that it actually took a while for Percy to be claimed as the son of Poseidon?
On top of that, we’re also exploring the newly announced Percy Jackson Disney Plus series and how it may finally be the adaptation Percy Jackson and Percabeth fans have been waiting for for years.

It’ll definitely be hard saying goodbye to Logan Lerman and Alexandra Daddario as Percy and Annabeth, but maybe it would be for the best?
