Everyone is talking about the major reveals in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer, but I think the real story is where everything is happening.

Manhattan is becoming the center of the MCU again.

Spider-Man is active in New York. Daredevil and Punisher are already established there.

The fallout from Thunderbolts and the New Avengers continues to shape the landscape around the city.

Marvel keeps placing more heroes and more storylines into the same location.

That’s exactly how major crossover events are built.

I’m not saying this confirms Secret Wars.

But I do think Marvel is positioning pieces on the board in a way that feels very familiar to the build-up before Infinity War.

The question is: Who’s next to arrive in Manhattan, and what happens when all of these stories finally collide?
