SOLIDWORKS is a powerful design tool, and our expert Stephen Moore shows you how to approach a large family of products such as a pipe flange that spans a wide range of sizes and dimensions. The part is built from a blank part to illustrate best practices and a design table is used to import the family of sizes for this part. After the parts are created, manufacturing expert Danny Ornelas shows how the same interface can be used to program the part using Mastercam, the world's #1 CAM solution. Mastercam for SOLIDWORKS is an add-in that extends the toolpath creation capabilities of Mastercam into the familiar SOLIDWORKS interface. Danny programs and configures the program for the various sizes previously defined in this ground-up design and manufacturing event.
