Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya has reiterated the government's commitment to developing and nurturing talent across the country. Speaking during a visit to the junior camp at Kasarani Stadium, Mvurya highlighted the government's ongoing investment in talent development. He also emphasized plans to expand the network of camps in various regions to better identify and foster emerging talent. The Junior Starlets are preparing for their third-round match against Cameroon in the 2025 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers. So far, 10 players have reported to camp, along with members of the technical bench, with more players expected to join soon. Kenya will host the first leg on 4th of April before traveling for the return leg on the 25th of April. In addition to the qualifier, the Junior Starlets will play a friendly against Morocco as part of their preparations for the crucial match.
