Spain holds annual dog surfing competition

Dozens of surfing dogs and their owners have taken to the beach in Spain for the annual European dog surfing championship.

Furry surfers rode waves at La Concha beach of Suances in the coastal region of Cantabria.

The yearly competition aims to promote dog adoptions and discourage pet abandonment.
