Made in India Akasha300 3D Printer for ISRO 😍 @isroofficial5866

An Indian startup has delivered the Akasha300, a high-temperature multi-material 3D printer, to ISRO’s Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) in Valiyamala. The machine is designed to manufacture and prototype advanced rocket and engineering components much faster than traditional methods. It uses dual-extrusion technology and can currently print at temperatures up to 350°C, with future upgrades planned up to 500°C. It also has a heated bed and a temperature-controlled enclosed chamber, which helps in printing high-performance materials that need stable thermal conditions. This will support propulsion research, materials testing, and next-generation manufacturing for India’s space programme. The project was supported by IIST’s Space Technology Innovation and Incubation Centre and the Kerala Startup Mission, showing how Indian startups are contributing to the country’s growing space ecosystem.
