DDR5 pricing is tougher than ever, so here’s the 2026 “meta” budget build: LGA1700 + DDR4 + a used RTX 4060 but you could very well use al the way up to a RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX
This combo is insanely efficient, very fast in productivity, and strongperfect for 1080p high refresh gaming.

Core idea: use an Aliexpress laptop-adapted CPU + a cheap DDR4 B760 board + DDR4 from the used market, then pair it with a used RTX 4060.
