What does it mean to believe in Jesus?

The Bible teaches salvation through believing in Jesus (John 3:16). God justified you through faith apart from works (Gal 2:16). That salvation-by-faith message comes as good news for people burned out on legalistic religion and works salvation. But it can quickly turn to bad news if you don't know what it means to believe. What often happens is that "belief" is redefined to include "good works," which lands you right back into the problem of works salvation. Shawn Lazar discusses what it means to believe.
