This is the evolution of Minecraft from 2009 to 2022. Since it's first release in 2011, Minecraft has become the most popular game in the world, beating titles like GTA, PUBG or Fortnite. Minecraft even made it's founder, Markus Persson, known as Notch, billionaire, when Microsoft purchased the game in 2014 for $2.5 billion. It's funny, considering the very first version of Minecraft, called the cave game, was created in just 6 days and featured only cobblestone and grass blocks.
