Creativity – 14th BIAL Foundation Symposium “Behind and Beyond the Brain”

The 14th “Behind and Beyond the Brain” Symposium took place at Casa do Médico, Porto, from April 3-6, 2024.

With its 14th Symposium, the BIAL Foundation aimed to address various questions about "Creativity" by gathering prominent neuroscientists, psychologists, philosophers, and artists and engaging them in a profoundly interdisciplinary dialogue throughout a rich program.

A 4 days-event, 1 opening session, 3 morning sessions, 4 parallel workshops, 1 blitz oral session, 1 final roundtable, 47 posters, 26 speakers and more than 300 participants – this is how the "Creativity" BIAL Foundation Symposium went.

About "Behind and Beyond the Brain" Symposia:
To provide all the supported researchers with the opportunity to discuss and present their projects, the BIAL Foundation has been organizing, since 1996, the Symposia entitled "Behind and Beyond the Brain". Since then, these Symposia are held every two years gathering the researchers supported by the BIAL Foundation and the scientific community of the neuroscience area.
