Adventure & Anxiety | Solo Van Life in the Southern Appalachians

Hi, y'all. So all the videos I'd made up to this point from the van were from my ~15,000 mile, 9-month trip around the western USA in 2022-early 2023. I've since spent over 5 months catching up on all the edits from that time, and this upcoming Southern Appalachians / Great Smoky Mountains series is the first solo van life adventure I've taken since playing catch-up on all my previous videos... needless to say, it was a shock to my system. *sigh* BUT, there is hope.

In this video, I'm exploring Tennessee & North Carolina's beautiful Cherohala Skyway, the old-growth forests of Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, and standing on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at Fontana Dam.

When I filmed this, I was struggling to get back into the groove of "van life", but it was the wake-up call I needed to get additional help for managing my own mental health. I've since spoken with a doctor, and I am doing things differently than I had for the previous 10 years since I first experienced an anxiety / panic-related incident. And that excites me, to be able to move forward in a new light.
