Cannon Beach Puffins

As a birthday present, I booked a “knitting retreat” for my wife and I via the wonderful local yarn shop @appleyarns at @surfsandresort in Cannon Beach, Oregon, and although I am not a knitter (even though I can correctly use the word “tink” in conversation) I thought I could go take photos nearby while everybody else knitted. Well, not only did I make new friends and take some photos, I was able to see my very first wild puffin! Please enjoy this video where I post some of our native PNW “Tufted Puffins”! Did you know we have our own varieties of Puffins right here on the northern Pacific coast? This was my very first time seeing a Puffin in the wild, woohoo! Punny music written by me, "Andes Off!" And those little jellyfish-like things washed up on the beach in front of haystack rock... look up "velella velella"!
