NC500 2023 Day 7 Highland cows, deer and long walks in the sunshine

Today we went to see the highland cows near Culloden Academy. We took the bus from Inverness, spent some time with the cows and then walked back to Inverness.
On the way back we saw deer, a dovecot and an old ruined house. It was a long walk, about 10 miles in the end but well worth it.
When we got back to Inverness we found chips and sat amongst the bustle of the city centre to eat them before catching a bus back to the caravan park.
