How to make a Proportional Circles Map
Proportional Circles Maps are used for displaying data in relation to the size of the circle. In Geography class they are especially useful for displaying population data. In this tutorial I show you how to make a Proportional Circles Map. First you must calculate the square root of your various data to get the radius. e.g. you might decide that 1 mm is used to represent a radius of 1 million. So if your radius was 5 million, you would then rule a radius of 5 mm. Then you can begin to draw your circles on the map.
