Can I balance my battery while floating? Well, I do!

I wanted to discuss this for a while, it's a bit of a theoretical question. Basically, I'm trying to keep the voltage of my cells as low as possible but still want to fully charge them. So I set my balance voltage in the BMS to the same value as my floating voltage...
Absorption/Bulk voltage: 3.45V (with 10min absorption time to trigger the smart shunt)
Floating: 3.35V
Balancing: 3.351V
Is this too conservative?

I think the Victron settings with leaving the battery on 3.55V for 2h is a bit too aggressive.
