An Indian Navy officer, Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, from Haryana’s Karnal, was among 26 people killed in the deadly terror attack on tourists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam on Tuesday. The 26-year-old Navy officer was posted in Kochi. Originally from Bhusli village in Karnal district, Narwal was presently living in Sector 7 in Karnal city. He got married on April 16 and was holidaying in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, when the terror struck.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
