PS Vita 1000 (OLED) Screen Replacement

I finally got the screen for the vita I was working on in this video: https://youtu.be/Tqo2QaYwITQ

I had concerns at first as it looked like there was a cut in the ribbon cable. My concerns may have been unfounded.

I may ultimately end up replacing more parts for cosmetic repairs but right now I'm still waiting on the joysticks that I ordered. I can probably disassemble both sticks right now and assemble one with good parts but I might as well wait until I have the parts to fix the other at the same time.

And with regard to what I said in the end of the video, I'm doing fine right now but a lot of my friends are not. I have immediate family members who may have the virus (or something else, who knows since DHS refuses to test most people) and may have exposed me, and I have plenty of friends who are now unemployed and have bills due. It's a scary situation and I need to make sure that my needs and my families needs are taken care of first. We're all doing fine right now but looking at the data from other countries, this will likely get a lot worse before it starts getting better. Stay safe, folks.
