My Entry for T. I.’s HBCU Student Scholarship. (My interpretation of his new album L.I.B.R.A.

In this video I highlight some of the many trailblazing, beautiful and talented black women in my life. To show just how complex and innovative they are. The pictures and video clips are primarily my family, friends and makeup clients. The end of the video highlights a #Libra. One of my friends, more like a sister, playing a classical piece that she hadn’t played or rehearsed for more than 10 years. I challenged her because I knew she could do it. The very end highlights the last time that I spent with another sister not knowing it would be the last time in person.

In Summary, the album is in synch with many parts of my life and actually helped me to process and get through them. Even if I’m not selected, the album was right in time.
