Valve Index Controllers VS HTC Vive Wands | Should you upgrade in 2020?

When the HTC Vive was first announced, I was finally sold on virtual reality’s potential; but it wasn’t the headset that convinced me. It was the 1:1 tracked controllers that were unparalleled at the time; they were clunky, featured gigantic touch pads instead of joysticks, and still to this day cost $130 apiece to replace--but they were the only thing out there, and they were amazing. Here we are four years later--and many vive owners are left wondering whether it's finally time to update their controllers.
