Weight Reduction WITHOUT Ruining Your Car - Interior, Wipers, Seatbelts, Airbag

In this episode I begin to reduce the EK's weight significantly by removing all of the unnecessary components I can without losing things like AC, PS and my stereo. Down below is a list of item groups that I removed along with their weights. And we're just getting started. I hope this video was helpful! Like and Subscribe!

Trunk Area --- 36lbs

This includes the spare tire, spare tire hold down hardware, trunk liner, that piece of plywood, the oem cardboard, and all of the clips.

Rear Seatbelt Stuff --- 9.6lbs

This includes the rear upper and lower seatbelts, speaker tray brackets, rear seat locks, and misc hardware.

Rear & Passenger Seats --- 62.8lbs

This Includes the above plus the OEM floormats.

Rear Side and Speaker Tray Panels --- 13.4lbs

Includes the above plus clips ***THIS WAS NOT ADDED TO THE WEIGHT LOSS TOTAL*** (Not sure if I'll reinstall these yet)

Wiper System --- 8.4lbs

This includes the wiper blades, wiper arms, wiper motor and linkages along with hardware.

Air Bag --- 7.6lbs

This is just the air bag without the air bag tray.
