The Central African Republic's president, Faustin-Archange Touadera, has been re-elected for another five-year term.
However, his opponents say the December 27 vote was flawed.
Many polling stations didn't open and rebels allied with former president Francois Bozize are reported to have threatened voters.
So what are the hopes for stability and peace after nearly eight years of civil unrest?
