How to, strong hand, Quad Load a Beretta 1301 Comp Pro Shotgun

How to, strong hand, Quad Load a Beretta 1301 Comp Pro Shotgun.
In this "how-to" video, I break down how to quad load from a magload nexus cartridge caddy using one of my load 12 drill videos. I point out flaws in my own technique that I spotted whilst making this video, and explain how to correct them so you don't make the same mistakes.
I am shooting the “load 12 drill” in the video:
* Set up 6 targets. Start with 1 in the chamber and one on the magazine.
* On the start signal - shoot 1, load 4, shoot 2, load 4, shoot 2, load 4, shoot 1.
* On completion of the drill unload live cartridges, and clear gun.

Caveat: I'm no expert, but wanted to share how I quad load and mistakes I have found in my own technique. Practice, practice, practice...
The technique for strong hand quad loading:
1. With your trigger finger outside the guard, maintain your grip on the fore-end and pull towards your body, whilst throwing the gun onto your right (or left if you're a lefty) shoulder, so the loading port placed is in front of you (approx 6"). Keep your left below in tight to your body to stabilise the gun. this will also ensure it is in the correct position for loading.
2. Grab 4 cartridges off your Magload caddy with your strong hand. Place your thumb over the top of the inner 2 cartridges (closest to your palm) and hold all 4 cartridges in place with your fingers in an open claw hand (don't make a fist).
3. To load the shotgun, rest the bottom inner cartridge on the loading port, holding the other 2 cartridges in your fingers, and slide the first 2 cartridges with your thumb whilst maintaining downward pressure with your palm.
4. Once the cartridges are engaged in the magazine, bring your hand back up to the loading port, place your thumb on the end of the remaining cartridges, and repeat the previous movement.
5. Re-mount your shotgun by re-establishing your strong hand grip (with your finger outside the trigger guard) whilst (in one fluid motion) pushing the gun forwards then pulling it back into your shoulder.
Watching myself in slow motion has enabled me to pick up some of my own bad habits to work on and improve. You could try videoing yourself to help perfect your technique too - its a great training aid.
It is hard to master, and I'm still practising myself, so keep practising the quad load until you master it.
FAIL = First Attempt In Learning
Happy quad loading!! Let me know how you get on and any other tips to help perfect my technique too.
FIREARM SAFETY
Always ensure your firearm is safe before use:
1. Safety Catch applied.
2. Magazine removed / Integral magazine emptied.
3. Chamber, bolt face and action (magazine well) clear of rounds and empty cases.
4. Working parts/bolt fully open and locked.
