President Trump is being attacked ‘every minute of every day’

Trump derangement syndrome seemingly seeps into “every niche of media discussion and public debate” within Australia and around the world, according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Read a newspaper, watch television, listen to the radio, it doesn't even have to be political news or commentary,” Mr Kenny said.

“The trump derangement syndrome seeps into almost every niche of media discussion and public debate in this country and around the world”.

Mr Kenny said while the US president is divisive and unorthodox there are just “so many people attacking Trump every minute of every day”.

It comes as former Liberal MP Christopher Pyne recently penned an article about how the world needs Joe Biden to defeat the “cult of Trump” at the upcoming election.

Mr Kenny said before this pandemic had hit President Trump had cut taxes, “rejuvenated the economy, turned his back on Paris, boosted jobs, stood up to China, defused the North Korean problem, recognised Jerusalem, pushed US allies to lift their game, and toughened border security”.

“It is hard to see what part of this would not normally be supported by a sensible Coalition politician,” Mr Kenny said.
