Is it better to sleep on the affected side of the face? - Bell's Palsy Knowledge Base
We received a question about whether it is better to sleep on the affected side after facial palsy. In general, there is no need to prefer one side over the other when you are recovering from Bell's palsy. You can choose to sleep on whichever side is more comfortable so that you can have a good sleep and rest well. Being able to sleep well is very important, as during sleep your body is recovering itself. Nonetheless, there can be an exception when it might be better for you to choose to sleep on the affected side. Watch the video to find out what this exception is.
