University of Nevada Hosts Algerian Students (AYLP 2013)

The Algerian students are there with a group of local high school students...
The students are learning some new leadership skills as well as learning all about each other's cultures.
"It's really great. There's a lot of things to experience, a lot of things to see, and a lot of great people. It's really amazing," says Soumia Hamache.

Annie Healion adds, "This is a great way to meet people from different cultures and understand where people are coming from."

Halim Ifticen says, "It's extremely wonderful. I think it's the best experience I've ever had."

University of Nevada professor Todd Felts says, "One of the things that happens in these types of programs is we come in looking at the differences, and we leave looking at the similarities."
