Established in 1974, at the heart of the Scottish fishing industry lies the traditional fishing port of Fraserburgh. And at the heart of Fraserburgh lies Whitelink Seafoods, one of Europe's most technically-advanced and quality-conscious fish processors who are grade A BRC accredited.
We have buyers at all major Scottish fishing port auctions. Our co-ordinated buying system ensures our customers a continuous supply of top quality Scottish fish at keen prices - including monkfish, langoustine, scallop, cod, and hake as well as many other species.
Immediately after purchase, fish are transported to our factory on refrigerated trucks, re-inspected for quality and freshness then transferred without delay to our refrigerated chills. Using fast, hygienic processing machinery, the fish are moved quickly through automatic grading systems and then hand cut. From there the fish goes onto packaging and icing, before returning to the chills ready for dispatch. A comprehensive HACCP programme ensures the highest standards of food safety.
Due the expansion in the year of 2010, we have started our own breading department, offering a superb, succulent breaded scampi that is not to be missed! As well as breaded scampi, we can also offer breaded fish goujons and various other breaded products. This adds to our already state of the art frozen department and cold storage facilities offering products such as frozen langoustine, scallop, monkfish, squid and much more.
