Devil's Den on July 2, 1863, was a bad place to be. These giant boulders provided cover for a time, but also made it difficult to get out of there. Photographer Alexander Gardner arrived on July 5th and made one of his most famous photos of the civil war, the rebel sharpshooter picture. But there is a twist! Find out what he did.
