Jaya Bachchan was Born on April 9, 1948, Jabalpur, India. Her real name is Jaya Bhaduri. Father Taroon Coomar Bhaduri was a Author and Poet and mother Indira Bhaduri was a homemaker. They are two siblings in family and Rita Verma is her only sister. Everyone of their family members are Hindu.

Since childhood, Jaya Bachchan was very sincere student. She completed her schooling from St. Joseph's Convent School, Bhopal. Later she joined Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and completed her Diploma in Acting.
