“No Oil, No Money” — Orban Accuses Ukraine of Blocking Pipeline to Influence Elections

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has accused Ukraine of using an oil pipeline blockade as a tool to interfere in Hungary’s domestic politics.
Orban claimed that the shutdown of the Druzhba oil pipeline is aimed at influencing Hungary’s elections in favor of the Tisza Party.
He warned that Hungary’s position is clear: without the restoration of oil flows, financial support discussions involving Brussels could be affected. Orban also stated that Ukrainian authorities have not engaged in talks with Hungarian experts over the issue.
