Chuck Norris' Family: Child Born Out Of Wedlock And Brother Who Died At War

An extraordinary actor, Chuck Norris was born in Oklahoma in 1940 in a difficult family. He was dreaming of becoming a policeman and therefore, even signed up for a military service in South Korea. To boost the confidence he lacked in the US, he started learning martial arts. Having returned back home, Norris began working as a karate teacher and soon opened his own chain of martial arts schools. His first ever debut happened in 1968 in a movie The Wrecking Crew, where he played a bodyguard. The most famous movies with a legendary artist include: Walker, Texas Ranger, The Way of the Dragon, Good Guys Wear Black and over 35 more works. Finally, even though, Norris has been on a big screen for several decades, he remains to be one of the most beloved actors with millions of fans all across the globe.

The actor’s father, Ray can’t be described as a good parent. He was a WWII veteran and upon returning home got married and started working as a mechanic. He was also a bus and truck driver. However, he never cared about the financial situation even though he had 3 kids. The most important thing for him was alcohol. He passed away at 51.

The mother, Wilma has been a housewife all her life. She has gone through many hardships such as husband’s and son’s death. But now she is a happy grandma to eight and great-grandma to 13.

As for Chuck’s siblings, he had 3 years younger brother Wieland and like his dad and brother, he served as a US soldier in Vietnam War, where he was killed. It happened in 1970 when he was just 27.

The second younger brother is named Aaron. He also was at the Vietnam War, but returned home and became quite successful in the Hollywood in martial arts sphere. He began working as a stunt man for his brother and later moved on as a producer and even a screenwriter. Apart from a great professional career, he can also boast of a nice family life, being a husband and a father to 3 kids.

The famous actor was married twice with Dianne Kay Holecheck being the first wife. The two love birds met at a high-school. They had been living together since 1958 and up till 1989. During 30 years of a married life, they became parents to two children. Until nowadays, no one knows the ground of the divorce.

In 1998, Chuck walked a model Gena O’Kelly down the aisle. Even though she is 23 years younger, the couple has been living happily ever since the marriage. Additionally, they produced twins together.

In total, the actor has five kids. His first child, a son Michael was born in 1962 with Holecheck. He followed dad’s steps and is also an actor, who was featured in over 40 movies. He is married and has 3 kids.

Two years later, a daughter Dina was delivered. It is a common child with a woman named Johanna with who Norris had an affair. The actor had no clue he had this child for 26 years until he received a letter from her. He immediately organized a meeting and admitted she was his daughter.

The second kid with Holecheck is also a son. His name is Eric and he was welcomed in 1965. He began a career as a stunt man, then moved on and became a coordinator. Nowadays, he is a talented director. He is married and has 4 kids.

In a marriage with O’Kelly, there are fraternal twins Danilee and Dakota. They became a wonderful addition to the family in 2001. Both twins have appeared on TV in Yes Dear along with mom and dad.
