Oahu gun buyback program trades gift cards for firearms

The Hawaii Department of Law Enforcement and Department of Public Safety hosted a community gun buyback event today on Oahu, offering Foodland gift cards in exchange for rifles, pistols, shotguns, automatic weapons, ghost guns and other firearms. The Office of the Governor, Department of the Attorney General, Department of Health, Department of Transportation and Honolulu Police Department partnered on the initiative.
