SubTropolis Big Truck

SubTropolis is 5 miilion-sq ft, 1100-acre of limestone man-made caverns that was mined 50 some years ago and is now utilized as a commercial warehousing underground storage area in Kansas City, MO.

SubTropolis lay 160' beneath well known tourist attactions Worlds of Fun & Oceans of Fun, and has a network of approximately 7 miles of roadway and several miles of railway running through its' maze of intersecting tunnels & limestone pillars.

I never knew this place existed, but it claims to be the world's largest underground storage facility.

Parking for big trucks leaves a bit to be desired however, in my humble opinion. ;)
