The Ne555 Chip used in variety of Timer, Pulse Generation and oscillator applications. This chip works in mainly three modes :- 1. Monostable Multivibrator, 2. Astable Multivibrator and 3.Bistable multivibrator. And the output is always a DC pulse or pulse train. And you can also generate AC signal with this.
So in this video I shows how to generate AC signal with two methods. The first one is works perfect and also cheap. But the second one is not works because the two junctions of complementary transistors are in forward based and works as short circuit. But if you overcome this demerit of this circuit then you can also generate AC Signal with this method too.
