This guitar lesson is for a solo acoustic version of "City of Stars," as performed in La La Land in a duet by Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. This lesson includes chords, tabs, and lyrics for the entire song. I am using a capo on the 3rd fret to avoid difficult barre chords and use more of the familiar open chord shapes (making the song easier to play). Note that this is a simpler "strum along" version of the song which isn't necessarily interested with finding the exact most-detailed version of each chord -- but rather favoring the basics so beginner and intermediate players can approach the song with a bit more casualness.
