US Farm Income Set to Fall in 2026. The US currently has the lowest number of farms in a century.

Tens of thousands of farms are being lost a year with the number only going to increase as boomers phase out of farming.

Boomers benefitted from low house prices and low cost of living while younger generations are bridled with debt. There needs to be alternative financing models discussed to help transition farmland to younger generations of farmers.
