Perfect S means: S in every given category (or battle) + no damage and no continues.

And now, i can add my controls as usual:

Dante: (same as default, i only switch between melee and gun)
Square= Melee.
Trianlge= Gun.
Circle= Style.
X= Jump.
R1= Lock-on.
R2= Melee weapon change.
L1= Devil trigger.
L2= Gun weapon change.
Up=Trickster.
Right= Swordmaster.
Down= Royalguard.
Left= Gunslinger.
L3= Target change.

Nero:
My controls are the same as my DMC4 controls for the most part:
Square=Melee
X=Jump
O=Devil Breaker
Triangle=Devil Bringer
R1=Lock-on
L1=Gun
L2=Ex
R2=DT
D-pad= Break Away
