How to Lose Votes and Alienate People: Conservative Decline in Liverpool

This is a recording of a keynote talk, given to the Thatcher Network's second annual conference 'Thatcherism Now'. In it, David Jeffery (Lecturer in British Politics, University of Liverpool) analyses the post-war history of the Liverpool Conservative Party, and Liverpool's political history more generally, up to the present day. He also analyses whether the Conservative Party can make a come-back in Liverpool.
