There is ‘never a dull moment’ in US politics ahead of the election

Sky News host Sharri Markson says there is a never a dull moment in American politics when it comes to the US presidential election.

It comes as President Trump has held his first public rally since his recent COVID-19 diagnosis.

Donald Trump urged supporters to vote his rivals into "oblivion” during his address.

Hundreds of supporters gathered on the White House lawn in matching T-shirts and hats as President Trump spoke to them from a balcony.

President Trump also said he was "feeling great" after leaving hospital just days ago.

Ms Markson said this speech “kicks off a big week of campaigning for the president”.
