Pour Demo using time lapse to prove that you can get at least 6 minutes or more of foam, when you use the Royal Brew Nitro Coffee Maker!

This video shows a pour demo using one Ultra Pure-Whip Nitrous Oxide 8g cartridges (you only need to use1 per batch). Nitrous oxide adds a slighty sweet taste and you only need to use 1: https://amzn.to/38x1o5u

For a classic stout flavor without the added sweetening, instead use 2 x Nitrogen cartridges by Best Whip (or similar brand). Nitrogen cartridges that we recommend (wait a minimum of 20 minutes between adding each cartridge): https://amzn.to/2OOARZm

Foam Tips: Make sure you shake the keg well, after each cartridge is placed in the sleeve, shake up and down, side to side, for 15-20 seconds, and if using multiple cartridges, wait between each cartridge. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes to absorb gas from the 1st cartridge, then add a 2nd cartridge! For best results put it in the fridge for 1 hour after the last cartridge is added (i.e. if only using one cartridge, you can put in fridge right away), to allow nitrogen to fully form (note: it will provide good pours right away, but optimal pour is 1 hour after gas is added).

Make sure you shake the keg every 24 hours to extend the life of the nitrogen cartridge

Make sure you add one of the four thin black rubbers ring included to the valve piece that connects to the faucet for the best seal possible to retain gas (watch our other video for this).

If making your own cold brew, it's possible your cold brew composition isn't interacting well with foam if it is too watery or too concentrated. Try buying a store-bought cold brew to test if the foam responds better with a different blend of cold brew. We recommend Starbucks cold brew or Stok cold brew in 48oz variety for example, available at local stores.

***Or*** you can brew your own cold brew following the below recipe, and/or pre-mix your own cold brew with some dairy or cream.

We recommend the following ratio for making your own cold brew:

7 oz of Ground Coffee *to* 28 oz of water = yields = 16 ounces of coffee concentrate. Then, add 32 ounces of water to the coffee concentrate, and you will have a perfect 48 ounces of cold brew in your 64 oz keg.

To liven up the top layer of your pour, you can a few oz of cream in place of water. Please note most shops, such as Starbucks, do use cream in their cold brew before adding nitro, so this will help give you that same experience.
