A rare American appearance by the highly acclaimed German novelist whose novels include Visitation (2010), The End of Days (2014), and Go, Went, Gone (2017). Winner of numerous prizes, including the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize (UK), the Hans Fallada Prize, the Thomas Mann Prize, and the Strega European Prize, Jenny Erpenbeck is also an opera director, and lives in Berlin, Germany.
