Meet modern masters who fled the country in the wake of the 1979 Islamic revolution, offering an uncommon perspective into contemporary Iran. Fruit of the collaboration between award-winning director Joao Inada and photographer Matteo Lonardi, who specializes in studio portraiture since 2010.
