Dr. Nathan King discusses the importance of intellectual virtues, such as curiosity, carefulness, autonomy, humility, and open-mindedness. King’s lecture explores why these virtues matter, and how students and professors can develop them.
King is a professor of philosophy at Whitworth University, and the author of “The Excellent Mind: Intellectual Virtues for Everyday Life,” released by Oxford University Press in 2021.
