First thing’s first, this grip does work on the Canon Rebel T7 – I can tell you that because that’s the exact camera I install it on in this video.

The battery grip definitely functions as it’s supposed to and includes two of the LP-E10 batteries that these cameras require. You’ll easily double your battery capacity and can choose to use Canon original batteries with this grip if you already have those laying around. The installation is completely reversible and it only take a minute to put the battery grip on the camera.

The only complaints I have are the fact that the grip blocks access to the SD card slot when it’s on the camera, but that’s with all battery grips for the T7. I do wish they included a rubberized grip like the Canon body has, but it’s not quite a deal breaker for me.

I hope this video helps someone who was having a hard time deciding if they wanted to buy this grip.
