Encayapa - Merengue Venezolano (Arrangement by Puentes Venezuela)
Puentes Venezuela is a project generating cultural connections through music between Venezuela and Berklee College of Music.
The musicians are a group of Venezuelan students and alumni who wanted to share their musical development with other Venezuelan musicians and did so with a number of concerts and clinics.
"Merengue Venezolano" is a composition by Rodrigo Riera. The Venezuelan group Encayapa featured it on their record, Movida Acústica Urbana (MAU and this arrangement was made for the Puentes Concert Series and recorded live in Caracas, Venezuela, at the Colegio Emil Friedman.
